Mole Mapping

Though most moles are benign and do not need to be removed, changing moles need to be monitored. Mole mapping is a non-invasive procedure using photographs to meticulously document the change of moles on the body. Mole mapping gives us the ability to recognize even slight changes in the skin that oftentimes go unnoticed to the untrained eye and during at-home monitoring. Monitoring and mapping moles allows us to pinpoint, study, and focus on changing moles while avoiding unnecessary biopsies.
